Otherwise, the wood will turn silver grey after a year or so which can also look good and will not affect durability. It is ultimately a matter of personal preference. The wooden stove fence of the Panel model should be coated with paraffin oil twice a year. If ordered with the hot tub, regularly clean the insulated lid with mild soap, lukewarm water and a cloth.
