We ordered a Hot Tub from Skargards. They went to great lengths to get the Hot Tub to us before Easter so that our family members could help us move it to its site.
The delivery man was great, and added it to his load as the last drop before the Easter break especially so that we could receive it.
The Hot Tub is great, everything was in order, and the instructions for installation were easy to follow.
It heats ups pretty fast, and is very well insulated so only drops a few degrees overnight when the lid is on.
I would recommend the product and this company as being first rate.

A great company to work with—and the tub itself is excellent. Installation was simple, all parts fit perfectly, and the quality is top‑notch. Highly recommended.

Excellent product & service. Well designed and constructed. With a 350L tank of air source heat pump 50C hot water kick starting the process, the hot tub goes from empty to 38C in 1hr45! Don’t under estimate the number of people you need to move it into its final location.

Super easy ordering and everything arrived spot on specification, good communication from the team. Tub is super easy to set up and really good quality. I’m very impressed with the thermal efficiency. Our outside temp is 6degrees and it took less than 2 hours to get to 40 even with the tub in an exposed position on top of a hill. 24 hrs after the fire died out , with the lid on it’s still 29 degrees !!! How?? Love that the air bubbles are warmed too ,in our old electric tub they used to be cold. Looks beautiful too, simple clean lines good quality materials- I’m glad I did my research it’s paid off !

We have bought not one but two Skaegards. We got it for our home in France and loved it so much that we bought it again for our home in the UK.

The quality is impressive, made with the best materials that really last. Their design is beautiful and the attention to detail is impressive. The water heats really well and the cover keeps the warm until the next day, even in winter.

We went for the filtration system the second time around and love it as the water stays clean for much longer.

We love the process of lighting the fire and enjoying the hot tub with our children.

Their customer service is wonderful. Super quick to respond, with very insightful and tailored answers to our needs. They really cared about us.

after comparing Skargards vs competitors online, I phoned them up and was given all the information I needed to make an informed decision. While you'll pay a premium vs others, you're getting top quality manufactured in Sweden and also the insurance that somebody will answer the phone if something happens in the future. Great hot tub. We visited the factory in Åmål, and the showroom were on a platform in the manufacturing hall. We got a very friendly reception with good information and advice. Ended up with the Panel 220 that was delivered well before promised time. The hot tub is beautiful, works perfect and we enjoy it immensely. Absolutely recommended.

The accuracy of the information shared at the time of purchase was impressive, and the staff was incredibly courteous and supportive. Mark, part of the customer service team, was exceptional. I would highly endorse Skargards to others.

Skargards hot tubs are top quality! Beautifully designed tubs that are a real luxury and is the “Pièce de résistance“ of my garden project. The service provided from pre to post sale has been excellent, the team have promptly responded to any questions I’ve had and the delivery timing and customer care was excellent.

The company has a great web site which greatly assists making an informed decision as regards which product to choose. Great communication prior to delivery and am really impressed with the quality and build of the hot tub. Pleased we choose Skangards. Does help to have 4 or 5 able bodied friends to manoeuvre the tub into position off the delivery pallet. It is fairly heavy and awkward so good site preparation ahead of delivery is essential!

Delighted with our Regal 220. Mark was great to deal with; very quick to reply and nothing too much trouble.

Delivery was on the button and the delivery company were great to deal with. The 220 is a handful to manoeuvre if you are short of help, but we managed with three people and a pallet truck across the lawn.

Do make sure you take the time to read all the instruction booklets- they are very well written - I managed to get the tub into perfect position and felt very pleased with myself, then realised I’d not attached the pipe to the drain outlet. If you get a filter unit and heat unit with it, have a plan for where it’s going to be situated and it needs to go under cover. I am currently in a quandary about distance from tub vs. heat loss through the pipes (first world problems). I wonder whether an internal filter solution might feature in later models?

It heats very quickly for such a huge volume- about 4 hours from tap temperature to 38 degrees, but that was with damp wood and letting it burn out in between. Was thoughtful about having no insulation under the tub, but it was still at 26 degrees after three days (about 13 degrees ambient) and then it was only a couple of hours to get back to 40 degrees last night.

Have had no issues at all. It’s a beautiful piece of kit, very well put together and the service from Mark was first rate. 5 stars.

I am so pleased with our Regal Dual Burn 190. Communication from Skargards was really prompt and clear.
Delivery was as described and within the expected timeframe.
It is well worth planning how you are going to move your hot tub into position before it is delivered. I managed to slide ours into position using timber as had to get it over stones and grass.
The hot tub was quite easy to assemble and looks great. I am amazed at how quickly the water heats with the log burner. It’s tricky to get the temperature just right, but with practice and a bucket of cold water to hand I’m getting great results.
With hindsight I wish I had ordered the steps and the shelf. It is quite high off the ground so would definitely consider these extra items if you are sitting it on the ground.

After wanting a wood burning hot tub for years, I decided to buy the wife one for her 40th. Weeks of non stop searching, I opted for a Skargards regal. Honestly, we couldn't be happier. Easy to contact, questions answered promptly, delivered on the exact date I wanted, packaged in a way that nothing could get damaged. And the quality is absolutely fantastic! Superior build quality from the wooden slats to the welds on the heater.

Customer service second to none! I was informed by a dedicated team from start to finish. Delivery was organised prompt and effective and my tub was at my and ready to chill within a 2 week period.

This is a must have product if you’re looking for a low cost/low power/offgrid solution to hot tubs.

Only critique I have is a pre installed or allocated thermometer would be good.

Received our Skargards Regal 190 (5-7 people) a few weeks back. It really does look amazing with and amazing finish.
Communications between the company and myself and the delivery guy were great and everything ran to their timescales. No hiccups!
Only thing I'd underline is to heed their message about capacity, "Note that these are maximum seating capacities. For more freedom of movement, Skargards recommends planning for 2-3 persons below the maximum capacity." Definitely factor in 3 people under capacity, as 4 x 6ft bodies in mine is cozy!!
Apart from that, really happy with my experience and hot tub so far and would happily recommend!!

Perfect organization - punctual delivery - easy assembly - best quality - and lots of relaxation

First time I’ve bought a hot tub and Skargards is a really first class experience. Building and ordering is easy, comms after ordering are quick and clear, and the tub itself is elegant and high quality.

It was all delivered on a single pallet (and we had the 8 seater with loads of extra equipment) very neatly packed and wrapped. I am a DIY buyer so needed to hire a pump truck to manoeuvre it into position for the HIAB crane which I hired to lift into position (all still on the pallet). Once in the back garden and roughly in position, two of us could release it and lever it gently off the pallet and to the ground, once I’d completed all the pre-installation checks/tightening hoses etc. Instructions for this are all very clear and well illustrated. I didn’t ever feel the need to call Skargards for support.

The tub is truly plug & play. Once on the ground, and after setting up the accessories etc. just fire it up and enjoy the atmosphere and aromatherapy of the log burner. I’m using a mix of birch and olive wood which gives a long, steady heat and lovely smell for the time it takes to heat from cold (3hrs) and whilst you’re relaxing in it. You’ll need a tall outdoor socket suitable for an RCD plug if opting for the bubble & lights kit.

And just for context. I live in a terraced house in Greater London, so don’t let lack of courage stop you!

Very happy with our hot tub, everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and helpful and all information has been clear and easy from ordering to being delivered. The tub itself is really smart and the build quality great, we've already had many happy hours in it and look forward to many more. Compared to other tubs we researched we think this one is great value and great quality.

Oppvarming har fungert fin. Vi invisterte og i isoleringslokk. Plassmessig har vi vært inntil 4 voksne og 2 barn i stampen. Vi tenker at den passer utmerket til 4 personer, ut over dette sitter man litt tett. Alt i alt en utmerket kjøpsopplevelse i tråd med forventningene.

This is a really tremendous product. Spent months deciding on what log fired hot tub to buy. Looked at options, read reviews, considered specs etc. Went the full 9 yards on research. I was mindful of buying something this expensive without seeing it first, so wanted to be confident it was the right product for us. I called Martin at Skargards and asked a few questions about operation and quality. Manner was excellent. We then exchanged a few emails on specs and guarantees. Our decision came down to Skargards and one other. We decided that if we wanted to do it right, we'd go Skargards. So we went for it, and hoped it would be as good as we expected it to be. I am delighted to say that it is. It arrived well wrapped and protected. Circa 18 days after ordering. A week to build and 10 days to ship. I unwrapped it carefully and gave it a thorough inspection. All was in order. No damage. No issues. It is clearly very well built, and looks to be made from good quality materials - as promised. It is solid. The galvanised frame underside will give it good longevity. The look of the tub is superb (classy) and the experience in the tub is even better. The assembly of the flue is super simple and the log fire is easy to use. We opted for the Regal 220 with insulated cover, lighting and bubbles. We also went for the filter and heater, so we can use the tub over a few nights without re-filling each time. Glad we did. The experience is superb. First heat up from cold takes circa 3hrs with the fire roaring. Next day (if you have an insulated lid) it takes circa 1-1.5hrs, and stays hot for ages! We don't have experience of any of any other log fired tubs, but i am confident enough in this product to strongly recommend it. I just wish someone else had written a review like this when i was searching, to have saved me all the time and effort i invested in researching and choosing! But alas. It's been a good process, i now know all about hot tubs (!), and please that we have made the right decision. Delighted with it.

This is our second hot tub. We decided to get rid of our electric one due to the cost of running and replace it with a wood-fired one. A Skargards Regal.
Our first hot tub was delivered and installed by a team who didn’t leave until it was up and running. We were in it the following day.

Our Skarsgards hot tub was left on our driveway by a guy who rocked up in a Luton Van. Just one guy, in a Luton Van.

He arrived and I cleared a space on the driveway for the hot tub to go and stood back. He spoke virtually no English but he did know the word “Help”, which he started screaming frantically as he maneuvered the massive hot tub on a tiny pallet, onto the equally tiny lift platform.

The weight of the hot tub was lifting him up into the air and I had to leap onto the lorry to stop the hot tub from falling off. Between us we managed to get the hot tub onto the platform.

However, the package was too large to actually lower the platform. He had to lower the platform, whilst pushing the hot tub at an angle. We then had to shout for my wife to come out and stand on the ground pushing as hard as she could to ensure the hot tub wouldn’t fall out of the back of the van, as we were both stuck on the other side, desperately trying to stop the bottom of the pallet from flipping over.

If it had fallen, it most likely would have killed her.

Still, Skarsgards must have saved a few bob hiring a totally inappropriate vehicle for the job. So you have to look on the bright side.

I was aware that Skarsgards just dumped the tub on your driveway and drove off into the sunset. Other companies obviously don’t do this but we liked the look of the tubs so we bit the unusual bullet.

We made all of the measurements and discovered that the whole package could fit down our side alley.

Skarsgards had advised that the hot tub can be picked up and carried by 4-5 people. Let me warn you, it cannot.

We had five strong guys, one of which was a six foot five body builder, and we could not lift it by more than an inch. We removed all of the loose boxes attached to the pallet and tried again. Nope, could barely get it off the ground.

Now, the weight isn’t the issue here. It weighs 189kg and we had one guy who bench presses 150kg by himself. The problem is that the package is in a shape that you simply cannot lift. Imagine a standard wooden pallet, cut in half. The round tub is then placed on its side on top of the pallet. The round edges of the tub protrude a considerable distance over the edge of the pallet. The sides of the hot tub protrude over the width of the pallet.

To put it simply, there is literally nowhere to hold on to it. This makes it impossible to lift!

We thought about hiring a pallet truck but we have a 4 inch step in the side alley and there’s no way of getting it over if it cannot be lifted.

We have now had the hot tub for nearly three weeks. It is still sitting in our driveway on the pallet. Minus the side table, two tier step, rain cowl, flue guard protection, filtration system, bubble and light and the insulated lid. All of these things are sitting in my kitchen.

A crane to lift it over my house will leave little change out of £1000. Once this has been done, we have to figure a way of moving it into the position we want it. Not only that! We then have to build the bloody thing ourselves!

Absolute nightmare and we haven’t even got to use it!
Two stars only because delivery was quicker than expected. For what it's been worth!
