Smooth delivery and quality product

The time from order to delivery was pretty quick considering. Communication was great. The delivery company were very helpful - they rang to ask for a preferred day, contacted me the day before with an eta and also contacted me when they were close. The hot tub is great, took a little while to set up with the filter etc but nothing major. The lid retains heat brilliantly.

We have just purchased a Regal Dual Burn hot tub and it’s amazing . The whole process was smooth and when I rang check a few things about delivery , they were very helpful .
The chap who delivered was really helpful and went the extra mile getting it where I wanted it .
I would recommend getting the filtration system to prolong the water life , especially if you are on a water meter.
I would highly recommend buying a hot tub from them.

We have enjoyed the Skargard Regal 190 spa for over 18 months now and decided it was time for a review!

Primarily, just 2 of us use the spa about 2-3 times a week. We bought the whole setup of Regal 190, bubbles, light, flue guard, extra thick cover (bit pricy), step, drinks bar, filtration and antifreeze heater system.

We decided to have it installed rather than do it ourselves which was worthwhile as there were initial setup issues which took a couple of weeks to deal with. Importantly we took photos of the underneath during the installation which has proved invaluable when understanding where pipes and cables are routed. We treated the spa wood and steps with a preserving wood stain and 18 months on the whole set up still looks new.

The heat up time is linked with the quality of wood used, but the wood burner is very efficient and there is something quite special about the smell. If using in the evening, we pop some extra logs on when we get out so it’s a good temperature for an early morning spa (totally magical if you time it right and hear the dawn chorus!). After using for a few weeks, we purchased a second set of the excellent steps, which are strong and wide, so we could have somewhere for towels etc.

The spa tub itself is beautifully made and a joy to sit in. It's completely seamless and smooth, with soft curves and no poking out bits. The single seat bench curves around the tub allowing easy moving about. The stainless steel bubble outlets on the seat are smooth and unnoticeable, however, when turned on they are surprisingly strong!

Our only grumble is about the filtration / antifreeze system which comes as separate bulky pieces and is a pain to disguise. We built a low shed next to the spa to house the items, which ended up as a good idea as (with a bit of jiggling) one person can slide the lid onto the spa-level roof. Before we did this it took both of us to remove the lid. The outlet for the filtration system is very near the top of the spa resulting in debris on the floor not get removed, so, despite a very powerful motor, the system is not very efficient. We change the water about every 3-4 weeks, using a low level of chlorine after each use. Once drained the spa is very easy to clean.

Despite our moan about the filtration process, we do love this beautiful spa and have had many, many memorable sunsets with Prosecco, and sunrises with Coffee! We would not hesitate to recommend it.

I ordered the Rojal Dual Burn after reading many positive reviews. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was disappointing. Communication with the delivery company was very limited, and despite providing photos and important information about the access to the property, this was apparently not passed on. As a result, the hot tub was left on public land in a very unstable position. It appeared to be at risk of tipping over in strong winds, which was a significant safety concern. We were able to secure it and move it safely onto our property over the following days, which is why I have deducted one star.
The hot tub itself is well built and feels like a quality product. I did receive a unit with a few minor cosmetic imperfections, which was unfortunate. However, Martin Quiron at Skargard was responsive throughout and always proposed reasonable solutions, which I appreciated.
Overall, while the delivery process could have been handled much better, I am satisfied with the product and the customer service provided by Skargard, and I would recommend them.

Having extensively researched wood fired hot tubs and talking to a number of suppliers, Skargards were the most helpful and professional. I placed an order for a Panel 190 with accessories which arrived from Sweden in less than three weeks. Expertly packaged onto a pallet, delivery was straight forward. Unpacking and setting up was relatively simple and the quality of everything is very clear to see. Overall a very pleasant experience and a beautiful product.

Honestly, this hot tub has exceeded my expectations. It heats up surprisingly fast, is very easy to operate, and looks absolutely stunning. The whole process from ordering to delivery was plain sailing, with no issues at all. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hot tub.

Great communication and advice throughout the purchase and delivery experience. The product is fantastic, straight forward to make the final connections and works extremely well, heating up to temp in a couple of hours, sometimes even one hour in the warm months. The hot tub also looks stunning and transforms the aesthetics of our garden. We couldn’t be happier with this and highly recommend it to all.

The hot tub has now been installed and commissioned, and we absolutely love it. The quality, design and bathing experience fully meet our expectations. Together with our sauna and garden, it has created exactly the place we had envisioned.
A lot of thought went into the planning, and we very much appreciated the support we received from both the Swedish and Swiss teams. The product itself leaves a very high-quality impression and the entire process was professional from start to finish.
The only minor issue was that the floor protection plate ordered later for the stove area arrived with transport damage. We have not yet reported this separately, as it is a small matter compared to our overall very positive experience.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and would gladly recommend Skargards to others.

We ordered a Hot Tub from Skargards. They went to great lengths to get the Hot Tub to us before Easter so that our family members could help us move it to its site.
The delivery man was great, and added it to his load as the last drop before the Easter break especially so that we could receive it.
The Hot Tub is great, everything was in order, and the instructions for installation were easy to follow.
It heats ups pretty fast, and is very well insulated so only drops a few degrees overnight when the lid is on.
I would recommend the product and this company as being first rate.

Excellent product & service. Well designed and constructed. With a 350L tank of air source heat pump 50C hot water kick starting the process, the hot tub goes from empty to 38C in 1hr45! Don’t under estimate the number of people you need to move it into its final location.

Super easy ordering and everything arrived spot on specification, good communication from the team. Tub is super easy to set up and really good quality. I’m very impressed with the thermal efficiency. Our outside temp is 6degrees and it took less than 2 hours to get to 40 even with the tub in an exposed position on top of a hill. 24 hrs after the fire died out , with the lid on it’s still 29 degrees !!! How?? Love that the air bubbles are warmed too ,in our old electric tub they used to be cold. Looks beautiful too, simple clean lines good quality materials- I’m glad I did my research it’s paid off !

We have bought not one but two Skaegards. We got it for our home in France and loved it so much that we bought it again for our home in the UK.

The quality is impressive, made with the best materials that really last. Their design is beautiful and the attention to detail is impressive. The water heats really well and the cover keeps the warm until the next day, even in winter.

We went for the filtration system the second time around and love it as the water stays clean for much longer.

We love the process of lighting the fire and enjoying the hot tub with our children.

Their customer service is wonderful. Super quick to respond, with very insightful and tailored answers to our needs. They really cared about us.

While you'll pay a premium vs others, you're getting top quality manufactured in Sweden and also the insurance that somebody will answer the phone if something happens in the future. Great hot tub. We visited the factory in Åmål, and the showroom were on a platform in the manufacturing hall. We got a very friendly reception with good information and advice. Ended up with the Panel 220 that was delivered well before promised time. The hot tub is beautiful, works perfect and we enjoy it immensely. Absolutely recommended.

The accuracy of the information shared at the time of purchase was impressive, and the staff was incredibly courteous and supportive. Mark, part of the customer service team, was exceptional. I would highly endorse Skargards to others.

Skargards hot tubs are top quality! Beautifully designed tubs that are a real luxury and is the “Pièce de résistance“ of my garden project. The service provided from pre to post sale has been excellent, the team have promptly responded to any questions I’ve had and the delivery timing and customer care was excellent.

The company has a great web site which greatly assists making an informed decision as regards which product to choose. Great communication prior to delivery and am really impressed with the quality and build of the hot tub. Pleased we choose Skangards. Does help to have 4 or 5 able bodied friends to manoeuvre the tub into position off the delivery pallet. It is fairly heavy and awkward so good site preparation ahead of delivery is essential!

Delighted with our Regal 220. Mark was great to deal with; very quick to reply and nothing too much trouble.

Delivery was on the button and the delivery company were great to deal with. The 220 is a handful to manoeuvre if you are short of help, but we managed with three people and a pallet truck across the lawn.

Do make sure you take the time to read all the instruction booklets- they are very well written - I managed to get the tub into perfect position and felt very pleased with myself, then realised I’d not attached the pipe to the drain outlet. If you get a filter unit and heat unit with it, have a plan for where it’s going to be situated and it needs to go under cover. I am currently in a quandary about distance from tub vs. heat loss through the pipes (first world problems). I wonder whether an internal filter solution might feature in later models?

It heats very quickly for such a huge volume- about 4 hours from tap temperature to 38 degrees, but that was with damp wood and letting it burn out in between. Was thoughtful about having no insulation under the tub, but it was still at 26 degrees after three days (about 13 degrees ambient) and then it was only a couple of hours to get back to 40 degrees last night.

Have had no issues at all. It’s a beautiful piece of kit, very well put together and the service from Mark was first rate. 5 stars.

I am so pleased with our Regal Dual Burn 190. Communication from Skargards was really prompt and clear.
Delivery was as described and within the expected timeframe.
It is well worth planning how you are going to move your hot tub into position before it is delivered. I managed to slide ours into position using timber as had to get it over stones and grass.
The hot tub was quite easy to assemble and looks great. I am amazed at how quickly the water heats with the log burner. It’s tricky to get the temperature just right, but with practice and a bucket of cold water to hand I’m getting great results.
With hindsight I wish I had ordered the steps and the shelf. It is quite high off the ground so would definitely consider these extra items if you are sitting it on the ground.

After wanting a wood burning hot tub for years, I decided to buy the wife one for her 40th. Weeks of non stop searching, I opted for a Skargards regal. Honestly, we couldn't be happier.
